J Herbin’s Rouge Caroubier is a pretty pretty red. I’ve found J Herbin inks to generally be just a tad bit on the dry side.

INK SWAB 203: De Atramentis Dante Alighieri
This is one of those rare inks – I’ve never used it and I don’t even remember seeing it in my collection. I Googled to see if it ‘s still available (it is!) and what people think of it (it seems to be well-liked!).

INK SWAB: 190/365 – Stipula Florentine Red
INK SWAB: 188/365 – Diamine Crimson
INK SWAB: 166/365 – Platinum Mix-Free Flame Red
If my memory is serving me well today, this ink isn’t quite as in-your-face as the swab would have you believe.
That is definitely one of the troubles with ink swabs: the color is sometimes more saturated in a swab than it will be out of a pen. Of course, there is also the trouble of different scanners, monitors, and computers. Perhaps a topic for another day, hm?
